In March of 2012 I lost my Dad Dennis O’Neill to Prostate cancer. He wasn’t just my Dad. I have 5 Brothers and a Sister. He wasn’t just a Dad he was a devoted Husband, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend, & Neighbour He was one of the friendliest & most helpful men you would have ever have had the pleasure of knowing. Nothing was ever too much for him. He battled this disease for many years with no fuss like the proud Irish man he was. In August of 2012 I took action and registered as a volunteer for the Charity. This year they launch their Sledge hammer Campaign. The Charity has sent me 50 pin badges to sell. The suggested donation is £1. Please help me exceed their expectations by asking for a badge when you see me or making a donation to my page. For those of you who knew my Dad you will understand what a massive hole his passing has left in our lives & you will understand why im doing this. By wearing the badge not only will it raise awareness of the Charity but the Disease too. If this post/ web site prompts just one Man to go and get themselves checked and diagnosed early then it has done its job. This could be your Dad, Your Brother, Your Uncle, and Your Cousin.
